On Saturday, December 16, the 2023 Elefsis Cultural Capital of Europe presents the last action of the Mysterio 100 Sacred Songs series, curated by Lambros Liavas, professor of ethnomusicology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, at the X-Bowling Art Center. The program, which is dedicated to the customs, rituals and songs of the Twelve Days, includes a talk and presentation under the title “The Rituals of the Winter Solstice” and – as always – a concert of traditional music with carols and festive songs from all over Greece . The final action of the cycle Mystery 100 The Sacred Songs takes place in the context of the Closing Ceremony of 2023 Eleusis, Mystery 1 ENDING: BEGINNING, One Ceremony.
