Mystery 87 I My Sea Journey, I My Land Claim
From December 15 to February 11, 2023 Eleusis European Capital of Culture presents Mystery 87 I My Sea Journey, I My Land Claim, the new sculpture installation by the acclaimed visual artist Stefania Strouza honoured with this year’s Art Athina Prize for young artists.
Mystery 125 Elefsina Community Orchestra and Choir
The Mystery 125 Elefsina Community Orchestra & Choir, curated by Aleksandar Caric and in collaboration with local communities and structures of Elefsina, takes place on Sunday, 17 December: a musical parade in the city, culminating in a festive concert at the Eleourgiki Industrial Complex.
IN SITU REALITIES Eleusis Documentary Festival
The 1st In Situ Realities – Eleusis Documentary Festival, a legacy project of 2023 Eleusis, is inaugurated with 12 premieres of documentary films, inspired by Elefsina and the surrounding areas, and with important collaborations from the world of cinema.

Mystery 111 Eleusis Terracotta Army
From 17 December 2023 to 11 February 2024, 2023 Eleusis European Capital of Culture inaugurates a new era for the renovated IRIS factory with Mystery 111 Eleusis Terracotta Army by international artist Juan Esteban Sandoval. An exhibition as a tribute to the people who work in Elefsina and the broader West Attica region, a huge collective portrait that was made to represent the people who have forged with their work, their physical toil and their lives the current image of the place where they live. The exhibition will open on Sunday 17 December, during the closing ceremony of 2023 Eleusis, Mystery 1 Closing : Opening | A ceremony.

Από τις 17 Δεκεμβρίου 2023 έως και τις 11 Φεβρουαρίου 2024, η 2023 Ελευσίς Πολιτιστική Πρωτεύουσα της Ευρώπης εγκαινιάζει τη νέα εποχή του ανακαινισμένου εργοστασίου ΙΡΙΣ με το Μυστήριο 111 Ο Πήλινος Στρατός της Ελευσίνας από τον διεθνή καλλιτέχνη Juan Esteban Sandoval. Μία έκθεση-αφιέρωμα στους ανθρώπους που εργάζονται στην Ελευσίνα και στην ευρύτερη Δυτική Αττική, ένα τεράστιο συλλογικό πορτρέτο που αντιπροσωπεύει όσους έχουν σφυρηλατήσει με τη δουλειά τους, τη σωματική τους προσπάθεια και τη ζωή τους τη σημερινή εικόνα του τόπου όπου κατοικούν. Η έκθεση θα εγκαινιαστεί την Κυριακή 17 Δεκεμβρίου στο πλαίσιο της τελετής λήξης της 2023 Ελευσίς, Μυστήριο 1 Λήξη : Έναρξη | Μια τελετή.
