EUphoria Walks

The programme of Eleusis 2021 includes three Main Themes, that focus on the connection of art and environment (EUnvironment), art and society (EUrbanisation), art and labor (The EU Working Classes) and can be traced territorially, dividing the city in three major axes: Central Eleusis, Upper Eleusis and Lower Eleusis respectively. The Walks of EUphoria compose the multiplicity of narratives and collective experience in the city, with the different elements of the urban landscape and the works included in the programme of the European Capital of Europe.

There will be two Walks:

Upper & Central Eleusis
Visit in Central and Upper Eleusis that relate to the Themes of the artistic programme EUrbanisation and  EUnvironment respectively.
Dates: 17 March, 14 April, 19 May, 23 June
Lower & Central Eleusis
Visit in Lower and Central Eleusis that relate to the Themes of the artistic programme The EU Working Classes and EUnvironment respectively.
Dates: 3 February, 3 March, 31 March, 5 May, 2 June

The meeting point for both Walks is the office of Eleusis 2021 (Old Railway Station). The Walks conclude with a meal in local restaurants, where the participants can continue the discussion on the programme of Eleusis 2021. The participation at the meal is optional and the cost is covered by the participants.

The participation in the Walks of EUphoria is for free. However, due to the limited number of places, booking in advance in required.  Bookings can be done either by filling the online participation form or by calling the following number: +30 210 554 7646. For phone bookings, you can call from Monday to Wednesday from 11:00 to 13:00.
