An important meeting between representatives of 2023 Eleusis European Capital of Culture and the Municipality of Elefsina with the administration of the Hellenic Post Office (ELTA ) took place on Monday, September 5, in order to explore the possibility of issuing a series of stamps inspired by the city of Elefsina and the Capital of Culture. The meeting, which took place in a particularly warm atmosphere, was attended by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of ELTA, Polychronis Griveas, the CEO of 2023 Eleusis European Capital of Culture, Nana Spyropoulou and the Mayor of Elefsina, Argyris Economou along with the Municipal Councillor, Dimitris Liaskos.
The release of the stamps will contribute to the further promotion and highlighting of the city, as well as the wider promotion of the institution of the Capital of Culture, attracting the interest of the public in general and collectors in particular, both from Greece and abroad.
