Mystery 55 | Sold Out the choreographic walk “Another Mystery (Un Autre Mystère)” by Julie Desprairies

The entrance tickets for the choreographic walk “Another Mystery (Un Autre Mystère)“, conceived and choreographed by the great French choreographer Julie Desprairies are sold out!

More tickets will be available, without reservation, based on availability on the spot, 30′ before the start.

Leading French choreographer Julie Desprairies returns to Elefsina and creates a two-kilometer choreographic walk on the city’s inactive railway lines, with the participation of residents and local cultural associations.

2023 Eleusis European Capital of Culture presents, on 13 and 14 November, a choreographic walk entitled Another Mystery (Un Autre Mystère) conceived and choreographed by the great French choreographer Julie Desprairies, with the participation of five Greek and French dancers, as well as residents and local cultural associations of Elefsina. An in-situ work in the contrasting landscapes of Elefsina, in its dance and music traditions, in a revealing two-kilometer route on the inactive railway lines that cross the city from east to west.

Four choreographed walks, on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 November, at 11.00 and 16.00.

The maximum number of spectators per show is set at 40 people, in order to ensure the best viewing opportunity for everyone. The number may change based on the new health protocols.

To ensure public health, the entrance to the show will take place exclusively with:
-Valid Vaccination Certificate (activated 14 days after the second dose of vaccine or 14 days after the single dose vaccine)
-Valid Disease Certificate (issued 30 days after the positive test and valid for 180 days)
-Negative PCR test (72 hours) or rapid test (48 hours) before the event.
-Only visitors under the age of 18 can enter with a self-test (24 hours), signed by a parent and a registered statement through self-testing.gov.gr. Handwritten certificates will not be accepted.

Visitors who do not meet one of the above conditions will not be allowed to enter.

The use of the mask is mandatory in all areas, throughout the event.

-Car or motorcycle via Attiki Odos or Athinon Avenue in just 25 min. from the Athens city center,
-Bus (lines 845 and 871 from Piraeus, line 876 from the “Agia Marina” metro station and line 878 from Acharnai),
-Suburban railway (Magoula Station and then bus line 863),
-KTEL (intercity public transport bus service -> line Megara – Nea Peramos – Eleusis; starting point at Asomaton Square, Thission).

Mystery 199 Vangelis Tsakos – Thanos Tsingos

From 17 April to 19 May, 2023 Eleusis European Capital of Culture presents Mystery 199 Vangelis Tsakos – Thanos Tsingos, an exhibition – tribute to two great artists of Elefsina, the award-winning photographer Vangelis Tsakos and the internationally acclaimed artist Thanos Tsingos at the Old Town Hall of Elefsina. Photographic and painting works, testimonies, publications, exceptional editions and valuable materials, products of extensive research, describe their history and highlight just a small part of the particularly rich but also unique work of the two artists.
