Eleni Michalaki was born in Athens. She studied History at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens but soon realised that she likes stories narrated by works of art, music, films, performances and theatrical plays best, so she attended the Cultural Management postgraduate programme at the Panteion University. She has worked as a communications manager at Technopolis City of Athens, responsible for the 360 communication of major projects and events, such as the Athens Jazz Festival, music festival and concerts, the Industrial Gas Museum, temporary exhibitions, contemporary art exhibitions, European projects and educational programmes. At the same time, while having this position she was a member of the communications team of the City of Athens for cultural projects, such as Culture is Athens, Olympia Municipal Music Theatre “Maria Callas” and Christmas in Athens. She is currently collaborating with the ANIMASYROS International Animation Festival and ASIFA Hellas – Hellenic Animation Association, while she is working at 2023 Eleusis as a communication consultant.
