2023 Eleusis European Capital of Culture, in collaboration with the non-profit organization “ELEFSINA – ARTS AND CULTURE”, presents from 7 October to 16 December at Cine Eleusis the “Human Imprints”, a series of documentary screenings by Greek creators focusing on the themes of ecology, archaeology, and human geography. This unique tribute features both feature-length and short films that have left an indelible mark on Greek documentary production over the last 50 years, most of which will be screened for the first time in Elefsina.
Following the screenings, there will be a discussion with the directors. Additionally, during the screening days, an exhibition dedicated to the old cinemas of Elefsina will be held in the foyer of Cine Eleusis.
