Eleusis 2021 and Emmanuela Kapokaki’s puppets at the Refugee Camp

Τhe new year finds Eleusis 2021 with a visual puppet show at the Refugee Camp of Elefsina held in collaboration with the Visual Puppet Theater “Prassein Aloga” and Emmanuela Kapokaki.

The families at the Refugee Camp of Elefsina had the opportunity to watch the performance “The snowman who did not want to melt”; a poetic story with actor, puppets and masks. Through the life of a Man, called Foivos, we realise the importance of the water, the Water Cycle and the connection with the cycle of human life.

The performance “The snowman who did not want to melt” won the Award for Educational Puppet Show at the World Puppet Carnival in Lodz, Poland last October and the Award for Best Director and Production at the Red Mood Festival in Russia.
