Cultterra in České Budějovice, Czech Republic!

The Cultterra youth group, supported by 2023 Eleusis, traveled to České Budějovice, Czech Republic, in the framework of the Young Creators programme.

České Budějovice will host the institution of European Capital of Culture in 2028. During the visit, the representative of Cultterra, Maria Tsaousi, presented the projects of Mystery 99 The Ark and Mystery 66 Voices in the City, the collective actions that took place to create the first skatepark in West Attica, the group’s collaboration with the Belgian Art Collective Time Circus, and their future plans for the use of the ARKOPOLIS.

Similar youth groups are active in other European Capitals of Culture, whose representatives presented how unused spaces have been transformed into centers of culture, meeting, and free expression thanks to the institution.

3rd New Eleusis Symposion | Re-Enchanting the World

How can we reconnect with the wonder of everyday life?
Can myth and poetry engage in dialogue with science?
Can work become a source of meaning and connection?
Is it possible to reimagine our neighbourhoods, food, and economy—as acts of care?
And ultimately, what does it mean to “re-enchant the world”?
