UNTITLED (MURAL BY PYRKAL)
OLD OIL MILL FACTORY
Expanding his interest in the rich labour history of Elefsina and its industrial monuments, the Croatian artist Igor Grubić creates a mural on the exterior façade of the Old Oil Mill Factory with pictorial scenes that he found in the inactive PYRKAL factory in Elefsina. Moments of workers’ demands of the past become collective, historical memory in the present of the city. The mural was created within the framework of the Mystery 3 Elefsina Mon Amour exhibition curated by Katerina Gregos.
