The Eleourgiki Industrial Complex − former storage facilities owned by the Hellenic Public Properties Company − comprises spaces for sporting and cultural activities. The central, open-plan hall of around 900 square metres, together with the surrounding precinct, is being used by 2023 Eleusis European Capital of Culture as a multi-purpose venue to host dance performances and music events, as well as artistic and academic workshops. As part of the city’s preparations for the title year, a study for the aesthetic and functional upgrade of these facilities was undertaken in partnership with the Municipality of Elefsina and the Region of Attica, and the resultant necessary works have been actioned.

25.09.2025—27.09.2025
How can we reconnect with the wonder of everyday life?
Can myth and poetry engage in dialogue with science?
Can work become a source of meaning and connection?
Is it possible to reimagine our neighbourhoods, food, and economy—as acts of care?
And ultimately, what does it mean to “re-enchant the world”?
