The aim is both to enhance the city of Elefsina’s cultural self-awareness based on actual instances of cultural production, and to enhance the city’s role as a permanent hub of artistic creation, a concern of the entire Downtown Creatives programme in the creative economy sector. The project involves the comprehensive promotion of Greek pottery, a primordial art that dates back to Neolithic times and continues to the present day.
