Mystery 100 The Sacred Songs returns on March 19 with a musical performance, curated by Lambros Liavas, for the Spring Equinox and the Great Psychosabbath of Lent, with texts and folk songs about the divine and human passion.

Entry with pre-reserved seats. * This pre-booking does not include the entrance fee to the archaeological site. Spectators of the event will pay the fee at the cash desk of the archaeological site upon entering it, and then a partner of 2023 Elefsis will take care of their service.
In the archeological site of Elefsina, a place full of symbolism, the ancient dances and the lamentation of Demeter meet the “Fate of the Virgin Mary” and the folk obituaries from Epirus and Pontus. Performed by one of the most important representatives of traditional song, Katerina Papadopoulou, one of the greatest Epirotian singers, Kostas Tzimas and the singer and master of the Pontic lyre (kemendze), Ilias Yfantidis. With the participation of the musical group of traditional music “Notio Toxo”.

The events begin and end with two Days (February 11 and December 16, 2023), with special presentations and film screenings that introduce the public to the symbolic codes, the deeper meaning and the function of popular actions.
