For the 17th year, hundreds of organizers, thousands of artists and volunteers are preparing to fill every corner of the country with sounds, colors and cheerful music notes, for the most melodic celebration of Europe, the European Music Day, which will take place this year from 18 to 23 June.
The city of Eleusis will take part in the celebration of the European Music Day for the very first time. Over the last 17 years, this institution is celebrated every year between the 18th and the 23rd of June, not only in Greek, but also in cities all over Europe. Eleusis 2021 embraces and supports this event, led by 8 cafes and restaurants, which took the initiative in activating our city’s participation. The music events will run for four days, 19-22 June with a total of 4 bands and 6 dj sets in four different parts throughout the public space of Eleusis.
Three music stages will be set up in three different spots along the pedestrian street Nicolaidou that were selected by the cafes and restaurants that have collaborated all together to organize these big concert events in the public space of Eleusis. A smaller stage will be set up at the last day in the garden of the Eleusis 2021 offices at the Old Railway Station of Eleusis.
The value of this event grows with the remarkable collaboration between neighboring businesses and Eleusis 2021 that were all activated to promote these cultural events in the city and its public space.
