An event was held with great success at the Greek Embassy of Germany in order to promote the events of 2023 Eleusis European Capital of Culture. The representatives of the company who attended the German capital on the occasion of the international Tourism exhibition ITB BERLIN, had the opportunity to share the work and values of the institution with the Greeks of diaspora and international press representatives.
The participation of the 2023 Eleusis European Capital of Culture in the international Tourism Exhibition ITB BERLIN, was made following the invitation of the Greek National Tourism Organisation and the Region of Attica, with the aim of highlighting Elefsina as a distinct cultural and tourist destination with a historical past and a promising future. The response to the projects of 2023 Eleusis from the German public and the international media was great, putting Elefsina at the center of European interest and proving once again the impact that the institution of the European Capital of Culture has for Greece and Europe.
The 2023 Eleusis European Capital of Culture expresses its warmest thanks to the Greek Ambassador in Berlin, Mrs. Mara Marinaki, to the staff of the Embassy as well as the Greek National Tourism Organization and the Region of Attica for the practical support in its efforts.
