In the framework of cooperation among Eleusis 2021, the neighbouring municipalities of Western Attica and the Scientific Association “Alumni of the American Universities”, the multi-award-winning documentary “Mourning Rock” by Philippos Koutsaftis was screened on Saturday July 16th at the Skironio Museum Polichronopoulou in the Municipality of Megara.
The documentary “Mourning Rock” is a wandering of almost ten years in Eleusis. A meeting with the inhabitants, a tribute to the sanctity and also the impression of the destruction as a result of the industrialisation.
The film, which was introduced by the director himself, was enjoyed by many people, who had the chance to experience this uniquely beautiful seaside scenery of Attica, the open-air amphitheatre of the Skironio Museum Polichronopoulou.
