Zoi Moutsokou is an architect (AUTh) and has studied critical Contemporary Art theory and practice at the Dutch Art Institute (DAI). Apart from her architectural and artistic background, she has gained experience in the fields of curatorial practice and artistic production, by working with international artists and collaborating with important institutes and festivals in Europe. She has built an expertise in the area of artist’s residency programs and in 2016 she initiated Greveniti Residency in the region of Zagori. Her current research focuses on the relations of exhaustion as cultural, environmental, socio-political phenomenon, contemporary ideas around cultural production in the context of artist’s residencies, the body and space/place. Previous research topics concern issues of activation and affect theory in reference to Installation Art, as well as spatial relations of the Contemporary Αrt museum as “shell“ with the exhibit.
