Arilena (Areti – Eleni) Dimitriou was born in Athens in 1992, where she grew up. She studied “Philosophy – Pedagogy and Psychology” at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, and she also holds a Master’s Degree in “Journalism and New Technologies” from the University of Krems, Austria. She completed her internship as Press Office and Social Media Manager at the Syros International Film Festival. She participated voluntarily in the excavations of the Archaeological Society of Athens in the Mycenaean palace of Thebes. As part of her postgraduate program she worked for the European Communication Institute as a Researcher and Communication Manager. From 2017 to 2018 he worked as a Journalist for GYNAIKA Magazine (Kathimerini tis Kyriakis), writing mainly for cultural issues. From 2018 to 2020 she worked at the cultural site Culturenow.gr as Cultural Editor, Communication Sponsorship Manager and Social Media Manager.
