The second meeting of the youth group Cultterra “Meet n‘ Greet vol. 2” was completed with great success on Sunday, October 16 at the courtyard of the Old Railway Station of Elefsina. The evening was realized with the support of 2023 Eleusis European Capital of Culture and it featured live music, an improvisation performance, an artistic intervention and many more activities by distinguished guests.
With creative discussions and the exchange of views on Art and Culture, the network of artists of the Thriasio Plain is constantly expanding, renewing the appointment for new actions in the hospitable, open-to-all, Old Railway Station of Elefsina.
A few words about the Culttera group
The Cultterra group (former Youth Labs), through a series of public events/interventions in the city, which take place as part of the action Mystery_66 Voices in the City by 2023 Eleusis European Capital of Culture, highlights issues concerning the young people of the city, showcases the work of young artists from the Thriasio Plain, while developing the skills and collaborations of its members. To date, the group’s actions include, indicatively, the creation of a park for people of all ages for skateboarding, rollerblading and BMX biking, the first Pride parade in Elefsina and a first mapping of new artists (professional and non-professional) of Elefsina and the wider area.
