An innovative project for the coastline cleaning took place today, Monday, April 15th, at Vlycha, as part of the Environmental Education Program and the national project, Let’s Do It Greece initiative. The project is supported by 2023 Eleusis European Capital of Culture.
A total of 80 students from the 3rd, the 8th, and the 6th Kindergartens of Elefsina took part in the project, accompanied by their teachers and parents. They also participated in educational activities that focus on marine pollution and the protection of the marine ecosystem from human interventions.
The Deputy Mayor of Cleanling and Recycling, Mr. Charalambos Sermetzidis, and the Deputy Mayor of Environment, Ms. Irene Chalkiadaki, attended the event.
