Two years full of actions, meetings, reports, two years of pandemic, but also two years full of mysteries. 2023 ΕΛΕVΣΙΣ European Capital of Culture presents a video with some of the activities that took place in the city of Elefsina during the years 2020 & 2021. Theater, dance, music, cinema, visual arts, speeches, and statements of the artists who made us the honor to participate in this journey, are just some of what you will see in this video. |
2023 ΕΛΕVΣΙΣ Cultural Capital of Europe continues its dynamic presence, forming a rich, comprehensive artistic, research and educational program, with the general title MYSTERIES OF TRANSITION. Reflecting the unique characteristics of the city and the modern challenges facing both Eleusis and Europe, its program develops around three central themes: Man / Society, Environment and Work.
THE MYSTERIES OF TRANSITION compose theater, dance, networking activities, seminars, open discussions and many other events, which have already begun to be gradually revealed and will culminate in early 2023, as part of a spectacular opening ceremony. A celebration for the city of Elefsina. A celebration for Greece. A celebration for Europe. A celebration for Culture.
