The first International Open Call of Eleusis 2023, European Capital of Culture, which started on February 11 and ended on April 12, 2021, was completed with great success, gathering a number of artistic proposals from Greece and abroad. Due to the large number of proposals submitted – exceeding all expectations – but also their detailed examination in order to evaluate in the most correct way all the proposals, the announcement of the results is postponed. We will keep you posted on updates.
The proposals submitted by the interested parties in the framework of this Open Call, are evaluated by the General Artistic Directorate of Eleusis 2023, according to the guidelines of the European Union on the European Capitals of Culture and the strategic objectives, artistic vision and themes set out by Eleusis 2023.
The selected projects/actions will take place in 2022 and 2023, co-shaping the ECoC’s artistic programme, which is entitled “MYSTERIES of TRANSITION”.
