After Bergen and Brussels, a group of 12 cultural operators from France set up a “mobile atelier” for three days (May 31 – June 2) at Eleourgio in Elefsina, focused on questions of organizational strategy, local and international partnerships’ building. The Atelier Mobile programme aims at the international development of cultural institutions and the organization of training programmes in Europe, bringing together professionals from France and the cities hosting the programme.
Organized by La Belle Ouvrage (FR) in partnership with the French office for contemporary performing arts circulation, ONDA (FR) and the innovation platform on Europe and culture Relais Culture Europe (FR), Atelier Mobile had a focus on the Eleusis 2021 mission and cultural programme, organizing discussions around our programme, offering a guided tour to the Eleusis neighbourhoods and watching performances created by Eleusis 2021 collaborators.The Atelier Mobile programme seeks to broaden the understanding of Europe’s cultural diversity, both at a practical and political level, but also to create networks of professionals with shared experiences.
On Friday 2 June the 12 French participants of Atelier Mobile together with Greek cultural actors and Greek artists had the opportunity to exchange knowledge, concerns and explore possible future collaborations, through working sessions on topics such as site specific works, working on public space, working with communities, international cooperation, cooperation between artists and venues and audience development.
