The Selection Panel published the evaluation report of the three cities bidding for the title of European Capital of Culture 2021 in Greece. The report evaluated the three short-listed cities Elefsina, Kalamata and Rhodes.
The Selection panel unanimously recommends the city of Elefsina to be European Capital of Culture 2021 together with Timisoara, Romania and Novi Sad, Serbia. The following assessments record the main aspects of the panel’s deliberations. In the case of Elefsina recommendations are made both in their assessment and later in the report to assist their transition from candidate to implementation.
