After Eleusis successfully entered to the shortlist, Eleusis 2021 European Capital of Culture – Candidate City invites all citizens of Eleusis in an open Council’s meeting regarding the title of the European Capital of Culture. The presentation will be held on Monday 18 April at 20:00 at the City Hall of Eleusis.
Under the basic title “Transition to EUphoria”, our bidbook focuses on the qualitative improvement arts and culture can produce once they are put at the core of every human activity. The “EUphoria” is an attempt to link all areas of human activity with arts and culture, tackling through a new vision the great challenges of our times· environmental, social and economic.
The aim of Eleusis21 is to inform all citizens about the Eleusis venture to claim the title of European Capital of Culture 2021, to share with the world our vision, the philosophy of our program, the specific characteristics and aspirations and to answer your questions.
We expect to grow all along the seed for Eleusis of tomorrow, a separate seed for EUphoria!
