We invite you to a two-day event dedicated to the local products of Western Attica and its producers of the 2023 Eleusis network, at the Open Farm Agora – within the OKAA.
We focus on the agro-food culture and culinary tradition of the region, from ancient times to the present day, culminating in the modern Mediterranean-Greek Diet. We discuss the need to transition to a new sustainable agro-food culture, with a positive footprint on the environment, agro-ecological production practices and conscious consumption.
We get to know the producers of the “2023 Eleusis Open Farm” network, in the urban public, through activities with events, tasting workshops and product sales. We organize free experiential workshops for children and adults. We present the events that will be organized by the producers of the network as part of the 2023 Eleusis open farm days on June 3-5.
Finally, we are informed about the actions hosted by the “2023 Eleusis Cultural Capital of Europe”.
Drawing inspiration from the rich history of the city, 2023 Elefsis forms an integrated artistic, research and educational program, under the general title Mysteries of Transition, which moves along three central thematic axes: Man/Society, Environment and Work.
