With the approval and unanimous decision of the Municipal Council, the submission of a request for the repatriation of the Caryatid of Elefsina, which is housed in the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge, is proceeding.
This important issue for the cultural heritage of Elefsina was brought to the fore a few months ago by the Municipality of Elefsina, with the support of the 2023 Eleusis European Capital of Culture.
