For the first time in Eleusis, on the 25th of September 2018, between 6:00-10:00 p.m. at the old canteen at the waterfront of Eleusis, a special event of science and technology is organised within the “Researchers’ Night”. The event is collaboratively organised by the Research Centre “Athena”, the Hellenic Centre for Marine Research, Eleusis 2021 European Capital of Culture, the Environmental Education Centre of Eleusis and the Industrial Educational Museum of Lavrion.
Activities are targeted at all age groups and participation is free.
The “Researchers’ Night” is held annually in more than 300 towns throughout Europe with numerous entries coming from the research/academic community. It is an initiative of the European Commission aimed at highlighting the role of the researcher as well as his/her scientific and social work with an emphasis on his/her human side. Through a variety of scientific activities, experiments, and original events, research opens its doors both in the field of education and especially to the wider public!
A great celebration for Science and Research in Eleusis. Do not miss the chance to get to know the magic of research!
