The Municipality of Elefsina<\/strong> obtains a complete study of regeneration and mobility. Traffic regulations, sidewalks, sidewalk widenings, a new bike path, and green spaces are part of the interventions included in the study.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Specifically, “Plan of integrated accessibility and interventions to enhance walkability and cycling in the Municipality of Elefsina within the framework of the European Capital of Culture<\/strong>“, was published in the Official Gazette (Government Gazette 1261 \/ \u0392 \/ 17.3.2022), based on the Joint Ministerial Decision of the final study for the regeneration of the Municipality of Elefsina. The Plan is based on a study prepared by the Ministry of Environment & Energy and includes key projects, such as the urban planning study, traffic regulation interventions, the tender documents and all the work required to complete the project. At the same time, it includes sidewalks, sidewalk widenings, a new bicycle path, landscaping and acquisition of green spaces, replacement of LED street lighting and, of course, interventions to facilitate the disabled. This is a project, the gradual completion of which will completely change the image of the city, will improve the aesthetics of public space and mobility within the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project will be completed in parts and will be financed, in the first phase, by the grant of 20 million provided by the Municipality of the Ministry of Interior.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
