The show \u201clanding_an odyssey\u201d comes in Eleusis, for the first time in Greece!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\n

Through the impressive interactive displays of dance and theater and with the exclusive tool of natural expression, a multinational group takes the audience to the point when Odysseus is returning home. The \u201cdrop-off\u201d, the \u201clanding\u201d, the \u201creturn\u201d after a long journey, full of battles and adventures, opens always the way for new challenges and new questions. Odysseus returns to Ithaca and Penelope, in a mixture of happiness, anger and nostalgia and invites us to ask ourselves.<\/p>\n

\u201cAre we confident that we can get back to Ithaca?\u201d<\/p>\n

The \u201cMemories for Life\u201d is part of the European intercultural project \u201cMeeting the Odyssey\u201d, which revolves around the journey of Odysseus and modern \u201cOdysseys\u201d. This year is coming in Greece, with vehicle the legendary sailboat \u201cHoppet\u201d.<\/p>\n

Set in front of the historic sailboat \u201cHoppet\u201d at the port of the candidate city for the European Capital of Culture 2021, the \u201clanding_an odyssey\u201d will be held only for three nights at the Old Oil Mill Factory in Eleusis on Thursday June 30rd and Saturday July 2nd and Sunday July 3rd.<\/p>\n

The project \u201cMeeting the Odyssey\u201d is funded by the \u201cCulture\u201d programme of European Commission. The events to be held in Eleusis are funded by the Region of Attica and are carried out in cooperation with the Aeschylean Festival 2016.<\/p>\n
