{"id":5888,"date":"2016-04-24T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2016-04-23T21:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/2023eleusis.eu\/open-presentation-discussion-on-the-main-topics-of-our-candidacy-3\/"},"modified":"2022-10-04T22:22:47","modified_gmt":"2022-10-04T19:22:47","slug":"open-presentation-discussion-on-the-main-topics-of-our-candidacy-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/2023eleusis.eu\/en\/open-presentation-discussion-on-the-main-topics-of-our-candidacy-3\/","title":{"rendered":"Open presentation\/discussion on the main topics of our candidacy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">After Eleusis successfully entered to the shortlist, Eleusis21 European Capital of Culture &#8211; Candidate City invited all the citizens of Eleusis in an open city hall council\u2019s meeting regarding our claim for the title of the European Capital of Culture.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Eleusis City Hall was filled with citizens and friends of Eleusis who exchanged views and were informed on our city&#8217;s claim for the title of the European Capital of Culture 2021.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">More specifically, in the open council\u2019s meeting were presented the main topics of the bidbook: Gabriel Kampanis was referred to the strengths of our candidacy, George Skianis spoke about our cultural strategy, Kelly Diapouli presented the artistic program and the European dimension of the programs, Maria Vassileiou talked about the infrastructure, Vicky Pasiopoulou spoke about the programs related to the citizens\u2019 activation and Peggy Tsolakaki presented the accommodation infrastructure.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">The Mayor of Elefsina, George Tsoukalas, closed this special city council, he strongly emphasized that the goal of the European Cultural Capital can unite the citizens and asked from the city council and from the organizations of Eleusis to join their forces for this common goal.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">All the attendees of the city hall\u2019s council, deputies of the Region of Attica, <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">the Regional Vice Governor of Attica<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">, Associations\u2019 representatives and artists expressed their <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">wholehearted <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">support to our candidacy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Thank you all for your presence and for being part of the transition to EUphoria.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">The best is yet to come!<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>After Eleusis successfully entered to the shortlist, Eleusis21 European Capital of Culture &#8211; Candidate City<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":4314,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[69,1],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-5888","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news","category-uncategorized"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.4 -
