Hence, it is no coincidence that Demeter, the mythical goddess of harvest and wheat, was associated with this place.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">However, it is doubtful whether Demeter would recognise Elefsina today. Initially, the development of the industrial zone was a blessing for the place, however it resulted in the coastline\u2019s transformation, the hills\u2019 corrosion and the rivers\u2019 disappearance.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After all, what is Elefsina today? What is its environment like? One of our main axes is life in nature, and our main concern is that children learn through play and spend time in nature, so that they respect and love it.
