The aim is to cultivate freedom of thought in broad and varied sections of the public \u2013 socially diverse groups across a range of ages and educational levels \u2013 and to provide them with access to science-based knowledge. This educational programme has been developed specifically to address the necessities of day-to-day living in the area \u2013 such issues as relationships, communication, mental attitude, wellbeing, the environment, the arts, and so on \u2013 as well as the need to deepen cultural roots in the area by means of the European Capital of Culture initiative. The goal of this educational project is to help improve the daily lives of its students through their personal development. The Free University of Elefsina \u2013 IN SITU is addressed to all those interested in advancing themselves via a unique learning experience.
